Steffen Schmidt

Steffen Schmidt is a senior sesearcher at the chair of aerodynamics and fluid mechanics (AER) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). He holds an M.Sc. in applied mathematics and a Ph.D. in computational fluid dynamics, both from TUM. Since 2009, he has led the Gas Dynamics group at AER, focusing on the development of numerical methods and physical models for compressible multiphase flows, including wave dynamics and phase transitions.
