Fran?ois Pacaud

Fran?ois Pacaud is an assistant professor at the Centre Automatique et Systèmes within Mines Paris-PSL. He obtained his Ph.D. in applied Mmathematics from CERMICS at école des Ponts et Chaussées in October 2018. Following his Ph.D., he spent two years as an optimization engineer with Artelys, on the team developing the solver Artelys Knitro. Later, he joined as a postdoctoral fellow Argonne National Laboratory's Mathematics and Computer Science (MCS) division from 2020 to 2022, under the supervision of Mihai Anitescu. His primary areas of research lie in mathematical optimization. He focuses on optimizing large-scale systems using the interior-point method, with a strong emphasis on nonlinear and stochastic programming.
