Dylan Josh Lopez

Dylan Josh Lopez is currently a PhD student at Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU), Taoyuan, Taiwan, majoring in Electrical Engineering. He focuses on developing hybrid quantum applications for power engineering, such as quantum optimization and deep learning. He earned his master’s in Computer Science and Information Engineering from Chung Hua University, Hsinchu City, Taiwan, and his bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Adamson University, Manila, Philippines. He is a part-time lecturer at the Department of Computer Technology at De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines, and the Computer Engineering Department at the Technological Institute of the Philippines, Quezon City, Philippines. Dylan has also been the director of collaboration and partnerships at the Quantum Computing Society of the Philippines since 2022. His other research focus includes quantum computing for computer vision, quantum optimization, and quantum education.
